A Day Long Retreat

at The Siena Retreat Center in Racine, Wisconsin

Join writers and soul friends Paula Voelkel and Emma Freeman for a peaceful day of reading, writing and exploring the sacred power of words to wake the soul.

Together, we will explore how writing can be a luminous spiritual practice to help us care for ourselves, give us an outlet for our deep feelings, heal us in difficult times and support the cultivation of reverence, wonder, gratitude and joy within our hearts.

Please know that you don’t need to be a writer to join us. You just need to be curious and open to the immense power of words to enlighten our way, whether you receive them, write them or ponder their meaning and the peace they can give us.

Cost: We are asking for you to decide on an amount you’d like to give for this experience with no expectation for the amount you choose. We will collect the payments at the beginning of the retreat and you can bring cash or a check with you. Truly any amount is welcome!
